Melanie loves writing stage plays, she has produced four of her own pieces of work, all that have been performed on stage, most notably at the York Theatre Royal and the Lantern Theatre in Sheffield.

Accents include: Scottish (Fife), Sheffield, Yorkshire, RP, Leeds, American-Standard, Australian, South African.

Melanie often performs her own lip-sync cabaret style performances; comical, revolving around political topics, trends and social media all tying in with pop songs. She came 3rd in the Great Yorkshire Show Off Contest in 2019 and starred in The Shipping Forecast with Stan Skinny at DINA in March 2019.

Melanie consistently works with Sheffield City Council for their social worker role-plays.

She has also worked as a Scare Actor for Scream Entertainments at York Maze Hallowscream 2019. For the festive season that year, Melanie worked at Santa's Workshop in Doncaster in a Team Leader role, selling out completely on Christmas Eve.
